Sedona in Snow

A year ago, I was lucky to be in Sedona when it snowed. Surprisingly, it rarely snows in Sedona although it is an hour drive from Flagstaff which receives snow often enough.

Sedona on any day is beautiful, but when it snows, it is just spectacular to see the red rocks layered with streaks of white. The locals themselves will tell you how lucky you are to be there to see the sight. Here are some photos of Snow in Sedona shot in March 2006 and January 2007. Yes, I was twice lucky!

Hello World!

Welcome to PhotoTrails – a trail of places I’ve been to and explored as I travel from my “little-red-dot-island-home” in Asia to the world beyond. After much persuasion from my friends to share my views and photographs, this seems to be a good place to start a photologue.

PhotoTrails is a journal of the landscapes and cityscapes I have visited and the people I have met along the way. Some of the photographs may be distant and far from your own world, others may be familiar or even be in your own backyard. What you see here is taken from one angle, one moment in time – what I saw and captured through my lens as I tried to “seize the light”.

Hope you enjoy “walking” along PhotoTrails with me, and drop me a line if you like. 🙂
